The new Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 from Goodyear is great at making sure you’re always in control of your car – but how does it handle on paint?

To celebrate the launch of the tyre, we wanted to create a unique and spectacular piece of art. We collaborated with the artist, Ian Cook, from popbangcolour.com who helped us bring the Eagle to life, painting a huge image with the tyres.
We love Ian’s work, it’s so full of expression, and he’s really passionate about driving, so he was the obvious choice for this project. His paintings are quite chaotic up-close but step back and you see the control he has over the paint – that seemed to fit nicely with the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 and how it tames the elements.

Making the Eagle
Tyres aren’t something that we think of having a lot of character but that’s not true, they all have different properties and so we wanted to bring them to life. The video was shot over two days with a small crew and lots of paint. Here’s how we made it:
